Social media is now the number one activity online, overtaking entertainment. In January 2011, there were more than 2.4 billion visits to social networks from UK users - accounting for 12.4% of all UK internet visits. In 2010, 58% of employers recruited staff using social media. In 2011, that figure rose to 63.3%.
